“It has been an honour and an enormous privilege to represent the Almond Ward. During my tenure as a Councillor, I have endeavoured to work tirelessly to help resolve local issues, such as housing, road safety, schools, improving local facilities, supporting community projects, and tackling street cleaning and other environmental issues, ensuring that constituents’ voices are heard. I hope to continue to sow, germinate, and nurture the seeds of investment, development, and support for all the communities of Almond to flourish”.

Inverleith

Before getting elected to represent Inverleith Ward in May 2022, Vicky worked for The City of Edinburgh Council as a Local Area Co-ordinator for the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership. She was also a Community Councillor in Drylaw Telford CC and has lived in the Ward for over 20 years, raising two daughters in the community who both attended local schools.

“One of the drawbacks of volunteering for the Community Council and having a full-time job is that I wasn’t able to devote as much time to the role as I would like. Now as a Ward Councillor I have the time and opportunity to represent people”
