Councillor Norrie Work
A local celebrity in Queensferry, his home toun for the last 30 years, Norrie was first elected to represent the people of Almond Ward for the SNP in 2007, prior to which he was a licensed taxi driver.
“It has been an honour and an enormous privilege to represent the Almond Ward. During my tenure as a Councillor, I have endeavoured to work tirelessly to help resolve local issues, such as housing, road safety, schools, improving local facilities, supporting community projects, and tackling street cleaning and other environmental issues, ensuring that constituents’ voices are heard. I hope to continue to sow, germinate, and nurture the seeds of investment, development, and support for all the communities of Almond to flourish”.

Councillor Frank Ross
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a small business owner, Frank was first elected to represent the people of Corstorphine/Murrayfield Ward in 2012. In 2017 he was elected as the 257th Lord Provost and Lord Lieutenant of Edinburgh.
“It has been a great honour and privilege to represent the Corstorphine/ Murrayfield Ward as a Councillor and as Lord Provost. Using my considerable experience, I have actively participated and worked closely with local community councils, helping to improve local facilities, whilst supporting community projects. I will always focus on the core issues that are important to the communities and constituents of this diverse ward, ensuring that their voices are consistently heard”.

Councillor Vicky Nicolson
Before getting elected to represent Inverleith Ward in May 2022, Vicky worked for The City of Edinburgh Council as a Local Area Co-ordinator for the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership. She was also a Community Councillor in Drylaw Telford CC and has lived in the Ward for over 20 years, raising two daughters in the community who both attended local schools.
“One of the drawbacks of volunteering for the Community Council and having a full-time job is that I wasn’t able to devote as much time to the role as I would like. Now as a Ward Councillor I have the time and opportunity to represent people”

Councillor Euan Hyslop
An Open University graduate and small business co-owner Euan was elected to represent Drum Brae/Gyle Ward in 2022. Prior to this Euan worked as a Pupil Support Assistant for the City of Edinburgh Council and a Support Worker for a local charity supporting care-experienced young people in the community.
